So, recently I had an experience I thought I would share with y’all because I know every artist has been there at some point. 

I have a fellow artist on IG, who’s niche is similar to mine. She puts out piece after piece so fast, her work is flawless, and she makes me want to throw my paint out the window.

It’s recently come to my attention that she doesn’t hand draw any of her lettering or imagery. It’s all done via graphite paper and tracing. Which, if that’s yo thang do what you do. But claim it. Don’t pretend it’s yours. Don’t insinuate it’s yours. These hoes ain’t loyal. 

Bottom line comparison really is the thief of joy. And your art is legit and not traced, so there’s that.
